The Detroit Brewing Co. and adjoining structure were constructed by laminating embossed plastic brick sheets onto a 3/16 plywood frame. Rusty Stumps brick decor was used to highlight the wall surface. The beam across the top is Plastruct with Grandt Line Nut, Bolt and Washer details added. The window frames are also from Rusty Stumps.
The bridges were scratch built using a 3/16 plywood over which the appropriate basswood trim was added. The street surface was made from styrene sheet as were the sidewalks,

Schmidt's Brewing Co.
These 1934 photos were taken on the west side of the railroad tracks. The Bridge carries Wilkens Street traffic over the tracks. Photos are from an old insurance survey.
Schmidt's Brewing Co. was made from Pine Canyon Models Modules. Each section was shaped to fit the footprint required. The foundation was made from .80 thick styrene covered with Plastruct stone sheet cut to fit.
